Kolgrim DeathHowl
Hey so I read Xenos and got hooked ages ago so I've been slowly grabbing alot of the Eisenhorn books hopefully to read them in order. From my understanding in goes Xenos, Hereticus, and Malleus....The Magos. I've got those so far to read in order, but then I just got Pariah in the mail and was curious in relation to those is it before or after, and then saw there and ordered the Ravenor Omnibus and then just saw there's another called Penitent. Just curious which I should read start on the Ravenor or pick up where I left off on Hereticus? Taliesin
Ravenor follows the Eisenhorn trilogy. Magos comes after the Ravenor trilogy but it packs in stories from throught the timeline. It has the novel "Magos" plus other stories. After that, timeline wise, comes Pariah, which is book 1 of the final trilogy. To follow, possibly in 2020, is Penitent. Kolgrim DeathHowl
Been sitting on a few of them while I end up collecting the rest just wanted to make sure I actually read them in order, and one didn't sneak up being something I should of read before something. Thank you! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/361997-curious-about-the-order-of-some-of-the-eisenhorn-books/#findComment-5477956 Share on other sites
Dr_Ruminahui
They are good books - they let you see a side of the 40K universe (you get little snatches of civilian life there) that you don't get in most 40K based material. The original series is particularly good. Red_Shift
IIRC The Magos has little page breaks in it that say things like 'now read xenos' before continuing its own story. The Magos volume contents page lists the order as per post above.
