Hey FF, I'm leaning towards doing a DIY one.

I have a paint scheme planned and it doesn't seem to match any of the listed Houses.

It'll be a bit Mechanicum aligned, but not an actual Mechanicum House. I would love to expand ot in the near future to include the minis hinted at in the Ryza leaks.

FYI, all the Questorus chassis will be a traitor House chosen by my Son, the Cerastus and Acastus will be my DIY House.

Thanks Warrior,

I undercoated with rattlecan gold instead of my usual black; then I just bunged a bunch of red, brown and black washes on them, easy as and fairly fast for three sets of markers.

One day I may add more red wash to the recesses as it's not visually strong enough as is.

The only actual paint was a really light drybrush of gold once the washes had dried and ofc on the skulls, that stage sucked a bit.

I undercoated them Chaos Black ... gold might have been a better idea. I see what you mean regarding the skulls, I just spent two days painting the scenery windows blue and putting Drakenhof Nightshade on them, it takes ages ... (still trim remains worse :biggrin.: )

Lol, there are many windows in the scenery I assembled and undercoated lately :biggrin.:  (to be honest these were not 2 full days of work otherwise I would probably have gone crazy … or maybe I already am crazy :teehee: )

Despite my TotH2 being 'complete', there's always more we can do.

So I convinced my Boy to let me add non-standard transfers and some weathering to his toys.

I'm glad he let me, only basing to go once Lockdown status changes allows shopping.
