I just was watching a play through video of Blackstone Fortress and noticed something that I may have been doing wrong this whole time.

When you use  Destiny dice, do you use them as a substitute for the value of one of your own action dice, or is it an ADDITIONAL die you are using, so for example, could you use your 4 action dice + 1 destiny die for 5 total actions during a character's activation?

Yup, they are additional actions. So if you have one character using all the destiny dice in one battle round, you can rack up a lot of actions. They are also the tool to keep heavily wounded characters contributing to the group.

You can't use more than two destiny dice per Explorer per turn, IIRC.

*IF* it's the same as Silver Tower, the next highest dice "locks" and the player can't use it, but they unlock for the next player and so on. The last player may use all Destiny Dive that are left IIRC
