Frostglaive
Looking through some of the FW rules, I'm sorely tempted to build a couple Siege Dreads. While from my perspective it doesn't look like it'd be the best "competitive" option, Duel Inferno Cannons on a T8 dread just sounds like so much fun to me. I'm curious if any of you guys have used or fought against Siege Dreads before. And if so, what was your experience with them? Galron
Would make a good poor mans Ashmantle. Exact same stat line as an Ironclad for 4 more points than how I would equip an Iron clad. It would be better if the inferno cannons were 2d6 and not just d6 but the 2d is pretty nice. Its negatives though are pretty rough since it can be tied up in combat pretty easy if you take both flamers. I am actually working on a list using two dreds including Brayarth to just run up the center using an assault terminator squad for the self sacrifice strat buffed by a Libby. Points being a major issue since I had wanted to use a levi with the melta lances or grav bombards. Thinking a siege dread might do the job better. I really think both of these are hidden gems no one has noticed in a few years. SirVulkan
I think you are better off with the Invictor to be honest. Faster, longer range, can attack with the fist, pretty much the same damage. Sure its T6 but it can infiltrate. Invictor is cheaper too.
