Do we have any solid sources on helmet colors for vets, sergeants, and officers?  What about pauldron trim for the various companies? Do they follow the standard RG color format?  I'm using all my Vanguard guys as the 10th company.  I'm considering using yellow for sergeants, yellow with a white strip for officers, but don't really know a good way to differentiate the officers.  Perhaps a light blue (usually the eye lense color) and make their eyes yellow?

Very open to examples, sources, and suggestions.  Thanks!

I don’t see them doing it but I see yellow stripes for sgts. Black helmets for vets ? Wish I’d done that for my Aggressors. The helmets not the stripes.

Officers no clue

Yea I'm not a huge fan of the bright colors as a full helmet.  I like the idea of stripes better.  Maybe for rank just making one of the shoulder trims different?  Silver for company captain, bronze for LTs, yellow for sgts, with a stripe of some sort to differentiate the vets if necessary?  Or a different colored knee? Thanks, these are good options.

The Raptors do not follow codex insignia practices. They mark the right pauldron with the squad number and the right knee with the company number, both in roman numerals. That's it. They don't do all that silly codex heraldry nonsense.

I stick to using Celestia Grey for details and decoration, since it's not as visible as yellow or pure white. It gives the model more contrasts than just making everything green and some metal details and done.

At that, there could be different ways to mark officers. I've mostly used white faceplates (center guy), that's still low-key instead of putting a colourful blotch somewhere. Can be varied for white helmet, hands, stripe or something similar.

Also there's the option to use knee pad symbols from Shapeways (PopGoesTheMonkey) - for example a skull for HQs, and crux for elites/lower officers.

On the one hand Raptors keep the whole marking thing down so officers aren't an obvious target, on the other hand a bit of variety does make it look more interesting, and easier for games.
