+ B&C 2020 Dice +

We are currently building an initial estimate of the quantities of B&C dice that members would like to buy. This will help us to calculate the final cost.

The manufacturer, Q-Workshop, is currently finalizing the designs based on the below images, 1 through 6 from left to right:

tn_gallery_26_6764_4795.pnggallery_26_6416_0.giftn_gallery_26_6764_10779.pnggallery_26_6416_0.giftn_gallery_26_6764_1492.pnggallery_26_6416_0.giftn_gallery_26_6764_17282.pnggallery_26_6416_0.giftn_gallery_26_6764_15448.pnggallery_26_6416_0.giftn_gallery_26_6764_29913.png

Expect small changes such as the servitude studs being removed from the 6 face and the eyes/nose of the pip faces to be tweaked (changes will be to get the minimum sizes necessary/allowable for the manufacturing process).

The final designs will be shown here before we take your actual order.

Dice will be available in the following color combinations:

Die Color Combinations
Black with red designs Red with white designs White with black designs Sandy with bordowy designs Orange with black designs

Final cost will depend upon the quantities of dice ordered - the more dice, the cheaper the cost. If at least 300 of each combination are ordered, cost will be adjusted (in our favor).

Here's the basic information from Q Workshop:

50 identical 16 mm D6 - 2.60 USD per die
100 identical 16 mm D6 - 1.50 USD per die
500 identical 16 mm D6 - 0.91 USD per die
1000 identical 16 mm D6 - 0.64 USD per die
5000 identical 16 mm D6 - 0.45 USD per die

If you order minimum 300 pieces in each color combination, they will be priced together, not separately and we will just add a color change fee - 100 USD for each extra color scheme.

The price includes full customization (all faces) with adjusting your design to our manufacturing requirements, preparing a graphic visualization (3D render) of the dice, manufacturing, painting with one of the standard colors, finishing touch and quality control.

The price does not include the shipping cost. We use economic courier service, we ship from Poland.

The other element of cost that we'll have to figure out will be shipping, both from Q Workshop (in Poland) to Brother Tyler (in Texas, USA), and then from Brother Tyler to you (potentially via a single member in Europe).

If you are interested in purchasing these dice, please send a PM to @Brother Tyler with the following information:

- Red design on black die #
- White design on red die #
- Black design on white die #
- Bordowy design on sandy die #
- Black design on orange die #

Continent, Country, State/Province/whatever
This will not obligate you to making or changing the purchase once the design is finalized. We are simply collecting numbers in order to get an idea of the total quantities and resulting cost.

Thanks to everyone that has submitted their estimates so far. I haven't replied to the vast majority of the PMs, but only because I'm too busy. I have, however, started a spreadsheet. Assuming I've copied everyone's orders accurately, here's the count:

- Red design on black die 444

- White design on red die 274

- Black design on white die 260

- Bordowy design on sandy die 469

- Black design on orange die 385

- Total dice estimated 1,832

So right now we're at $1.50 (USD) per die. If we can get the two highlighted combinations over the 300 mark (just a few more of each!), the price per die will be knocked down to $.64 (USD). If that happens, though, we'll also owe $400 because there are five total color combinations. That cost will be split among the members ordering (I'll try to figure out a way to pro-rate it so that people with smaller orders aren't paying more than the $1.50/die rate). With simple math, if we make it a charge per die, it would come out to a maximum of $.21 per die (or $.85 per die total, not including shipping and handling) - still cheaper than the $1.50 per die rate. And the more dice that are ordered, the lower that goes (just divide 400 by the total number of dice ordered). We need to get those two combinations over the 300 mark for that to happen, though.

I'll leave the estimate period open for another week or so to give everyone time.

Numbers as of this morning:

- Red design on black die 602

- White design on red die 495

- Black design on white die 570

- Bordowy design on sandy die 857

- Black design on orange die 577

Total dice estimated (so far): 3,101

The $400 gets divided into $.13 per die (basic per die cost now at $.77).

Numbers as of this morning:

- Red design on black die 650

- White design on red die 599

- Black design on white die 593

- Bordowy design on sandy die 883

- Black design on orange die 609

Total dice estimated (so far): 3,334

The $400 gets divided into $.12 per die (basic per die cost at $.76).

All of this assumes that everyone that has provided an estimate remains committed to the numbers they've provided. I expect that there will be changes, both in terms of members reducing/dropping their orders and other members increasing/adding new orders, so we'll play it by ear.

Q Workshop can support split shipping. There will be a fee, but if we divide that fairly, it will probably be much cheaper than shipping to the U.S., then shipping to the U.K. for ultimate shipping to the member. We don't have exact numbers yet, so I'm not going to set the bar too high.

And Q Workshop has provided a revised version of the design that meets their manufacturing requirements. The only significant change is that the 1-5 skulls are now inside circles. So I guess the people that voted for pips are kind of getting their way, too, now. The servitude studs on the 6 face are also changed a little, though they are still there (I fully expected them to be removed, so we'll call that a win).

Here it is:

There's always a chance that some members might adjust their orders based on the new design, so this is time for anyone to make any changes/drop out/add new estimates.
