Quaestoris Knights as Allies for Ruinstorm Daemons?

Hi all,

 

had my first game of 30k today (part of a League) and now all other players agreed that we jump up to 2500 points in the next round. That would be the right time to field my lovely painted Chaos Knight as an ally to my Ruinstorm Daemons which are my main faction.

 

But is this possible?

 

Ruinstorm Daemons are Agents of the Warmaster which makes them "Sworn Brothers" to all Traitors. My problem: I couldn´t find a rule that treats Quaestoris Knights as Traitors.

 

Can anybody help me?

I believe RAW you 'declare' which side is a Loyalist and which is the Traitor before each game since you can say the fluff of Your Dudes is they sided with whomever. In other words go wild.

Questoris and titanicus do not have designations of traitor or loyalist. In fact most legions do not either, word bearers being the exception. It’s the specialist armies that you run into that such as custodes, sisters, and demons. Also some characters require you to be traitor or loyalist.

 

Unless the demons specifically restrict what you can take as allies beyond being traitor you can take knights as allies so long as you designate them traitors and they will use the Mechanicum spot in the ally matrix. Which probably won’t impact anything as I’m pretty sure agents of the warmaster are considered sworn brothers with anything traitor.
