Charlo
So I'm going to be cracking out my Styrix in 30k in a few weeks, just wanted to ask some general usage advice for Knights in 30k. Any rules to remember? Any top tips? Things to look out for? Secret tricks? Any and all info appreciated :) Jolemai 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/362431-using-a-knight-in-hh/ Share on other sites
dicebod
A few important things to remember: As a super heavy walker, you get a Hammer of Wrath attack at I10 if you charge. This is an auto-hitting S10 attack! Likewise, don't forget your stomps if you make it into close combat. Always make it clear to your opponent which way your ion shield is facing! Watch out for melta bombs or chainfist marines. You don't get your ion save and they'll walk right through you. SkimaskMohawk
RAW an ion shield facing either left or right will grant the save vs. Barrage weapons. You basically want to ram it straight at your opponent. Between stomps and D melee attacks and the big explosion, you get the most value from them being in opponents forces.
