Invictor Base Colour

I have 2 Invictors to paint. I have undercoated them black but now i look at the mdel, the amount of gunmetal i need to paint on is crazy.

the ratio between armour and mechanisms easily favours the inner workings.

 

So my question to tose that have painted one, would i benefit from spraying Leadbelcher then painting the armour black? (the armour will remain black as per my colour scheme)

Same issue with regular dreads. Spraying it gunmetal is the way to go. Bonus points if you kept some armourpanels seperate for even easier painting.

..... Now, that would be a bloody grand idea and especially easy with the Invictor... Doh!

This is pretty much how people are doing their AT titans, spray it all metal and block in the panels.

Yeah I sprayed this lot with Leadbelcher first.
