Hi Im looking for some list advice.

 

I don’t expect to face too many Spartans or stronger selections so it doesn’t need to have all the fat trimmed but just any suggestions or ideas to make it a bit more competitive would be nice. It will be used in a 16 or so player league.

 

Konrad and an apothecary and the chap jump into the assault apothecary and the praetor and other apothecary jump into the bike squad.

 

Never used destroyers before but I assume they will act as a softening up tool before the faster units hit. The one squad of Atramentar will drop to sure up defences while the vehicles will hopefully blow through the vehicles but there’s some extra meltas thrown in in case.

 

Anyway any C&C is appreciated

Ave Dominus Nox,

I think what you have here is a really solid Terror Assault list with all its pros and cons. I don't see any glaring problems that wouldn't be inherent to this RoW (like chronic lack of anti-tank weapons but you can only do that much with 1 HS, and you reasonably loaded up on melta bombs). So I only have a few tiny suggestions in mind:

 

- Hunter-Killers on Speeders are really cheap. You need every heavy firepower you can find and they can help with that initial salvo. And my speeders don't usually live much longer than that...

 

- I'd say that Terminator Sarge from 2nd squad should swap his fist for a chain one with one of his subordinates. Most likely irrelevant but hey, maybe he'll encounter a Dreadnought after all his squad got wiped out...

 

- Now, since you have the Night Haunter you can take a Terminator Command squad instead of your regular second squad - for what I think is 5 pts you get WS5, 6" fearless aura, Chosen Warriors, +1W on standard bearer. You lose scoring though. You should at least consider them. 

 

- Someone could make a point that Sevatar and his squad also deserve an Apothecary. Maybe they do, but not sure honestly - but hey, you can think about it. Though you probably don't have points for it.

Only thing I would change is the lightning for a fire raptor.

 

Other then that having a named character is always cool but I would make it a rule of one named character per everyone involved if that makes sense and put in on a note board somewhere.

Thanks we actually did take the one named character advice, so I kept curze since I’ve been wanting to use him for awhile. I was suggested destroyers since I’ve never used them and decided to give them a try. I think it needs a lot more work but I do enjoy the idea of them and maybe some bikers for a second assault group.
