Beatnik cryptek
How about a thread that compares two different necron units or weapons and asks "In x versus y which is better?"For example, Tomb blades vs destroyers.Destroyers have greater raw firepower and range, plus the option for a tankbuster weapon.Tomb blades are more versatile, have more wargear options and are faster.Which is better? Get Thokt
Tomb Blades and Destroyers fill different roles imo. One for mass shots and the other for anti-tank or beefy units. I'd say Tomb Blades are more durable and provide more strategic options than Destroyers so would go for them. What about Heavy Destroyers vs Triarch Stalker? Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch
Point for point, when it comes to long range shooting (I.e. heavy gauss cannon), I think the heavy destroyers are more efficient, however, the Triarch stalker provides both a more durable platform and a buff to other shooting. Stalkers also have a respectable close combat stat line, making them capable of deterring or dealing with deep-strikers or other units that get through your screen. Beatnik cryptek
Stalkers have a big advantage in that they can let every unit you fire after them at a particular target reroll 1's. Also they look cool as hell. Plus they have some firepower options.Their big weakness is no dynasty benefit.
