Damn, that’s almost a company’s worth of heroes! Very nice collection

Thanks!

I actually have 10 more character models not pictured (doubles or older versions of pictured models).

Also not pictured are a ton of lieutenants, talon masters, ancients, champions, apothecaries etc... all characters, just not high command.

What an effort! Well done to you!

How much painting time went nto it all roughly?

Iv'e been collecting Dark Angels since Nov 2015. Got about 16K points now. How much time for the character models only? No idea...

Anyone else got a similar ensamble of HQ models?

We could start a showcase of the chapter command of each player around. Could be fun!

Wonderful idea!

With your permission, brother, and in the spirit of sharing images of the command units of our armies, I have mine here.

At the center is Grand Master Zerephiel, of my successor chapter, the Wings of Dawn. (Azrael Eq.).

Next to him is his trusted warhound, Quimera (Azrael's WitD Eq.).

To the left there are some of the members of the Librarium.

First is Brother Evanor, the Master of the Librarium (Ezekiel Eq.)

To the right from him is Brother Casimir, the First Epistolary. In Terminator Armor, as he is often tasked with joining the First Company, or the Veterans of the Battle Companies, in combat.

With them are two more Codiciers, who serve Brother Evanor as members of Librarius Conclave.

To the right there is Brother Dragomir, Master of the Second Company, in Jump Pack as is his preference, and wielding Fellbane; one of the chapter relics. A master crafted hammer imbued in sacred might. Granted upon him as recognition of his prowess as a warrior, and for the purity of his dedication in the the pursuit of the daemonic-like manifestations of the great enemy, which the chapter is always on the hunt for.

To either side of Brother Dragomir, there stand his lieutenants.

There is Brother Halbar, the first lieutenant, in Jump Pack as his Company Master, for he always belongs in the front lines of combat, next to his commander.

Then there is Brother Osric, the second lieutenant. A field commander in his own right, usually charged with leading the company gunlines, be it by himself or as support for the Second Company Chaplain. His regalia is in bronze, unlike the rest of the second company command, as a sign of his designation to the Chapter Command. When the Grand Master takes to the field of battle, he will usually request a lieutenant of the active company, to serve as his aid. In the second company, this honor falls on Brother Osric, and his armor seeks to signal this.

Finally, behind them is the Second Company Command Squad. The Second Company Ancient, the Second Company Champion, and the Second Company Apothercary.

What is not shown here is the Chaplains and Interrogator Chaplains of the successor chapter, and the Master of the Armory, as these models are still not painted as of today. But, they will be soon enough. I'll post an update when they are.

Clearly not as numerous as yours, and even more so as there are 5 models that should be here but are still not ready. Still, it is the group of heroes that lead my army to battle every time. They have been painstakingly assembled and painted, to reflect their character as best as possible.

That is a seriously solid line-up!

Agree that the naming is great and gives them more personality - do you have a favourite?

Thank you!

Sure, it's Epistolary Aspholon! He is right there in my profile pic.
