NightHowler
I don’t have our book yet. I’m assuming they were wiped out? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/363069-so-uhremember-the-obsidian-jaguars/#findComment-5502819 Share on other sites
TiguriusX
I don’t have our book yet. I’m assuming they were wiped out? We dont know if the rest of the chapter is alive or if they are all dead. But Wolf Lord Morkai arrived and found everyone dead...the chapter fortress was looted and defiled. They infiltrated the fortress to salvage geneseed but found most of it useless. They blew up the generator and planet before leaving. Despite the massive number of orks killed it did not feel like a victory. In a happy spin off the obsidian Jaguars might return. In grimdark 40k they are gone Llagos_Tyrant 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/363069-so-uhremember-the-obsidian-jaguars/#findComment-5502823 Share on other sites
Llagos_Tyrant
Not a Space Wolf player but after reading the story, I was wondering if this would be cleared up in the lore in the book. Thanks for sharing! Lord Nord in Gravis Armour
Don't know who's had a chance to read the latest White Dwarf, but the Jaguars are confirmed to have taken part in the Argovon campaign in the Pariah Nexus. Captain Xiopa Ahuitz is mentioned as the commander of their forces allocated to that warzone. Of course, I don't think this has any impact on their chances of surviving the events from the box set, as I believe that was set far later in the timeline and the Pariah Nexus events would have taken place a decade or so into the Indomitus Crusade. And the Jaguars' geneseed would still have been wiped out whenever the attack on their fortress occurred. quasistellar
A real shame for a more unique chapter. More interesting than warrior monk tabard wearing chapter version 4237. Jareddm
Wonder if there was any relation to the Obsidian Glaives, who were also wiped out by Orks.
