Mendi Warrior
I found Osprey Publishing is offering 5 free ebooks per week for 4 weeks. The first batch is already inactive. The second batch ends today I think, and the third will likely start tomorrow. These are historical books about uniforms, battles, wargear, war engines, … hence not really B&C material. This said, some might be of interest to people on B&C as sources of inspiration for painting schemes or as general references for conversions or scenarios. https://ospreypublishing.com/blog/Free_eBooks_week_2 https://ospreypublishing.com/blog/Free_eBooks_week_3 Thanks to Brother Casman for validating this beforehand. Brother Tyler
The books on aircraft are a great inspiration for those painting Aeronautica Imperialis models. Most of the army books are great inspiration for a variety of armies, especially the Astra Militarum. Those of you that enjoy Necromunda, Inquisitor, Inquisimunda/Inq28, etc. will also find many of the army books a good source of inspiration. And for those of you that are working on campaigns and alternate settings, the various books about events are a good source of inspiration and provide good examples of things (and don't be afraid to file off the serial numbers of a historical battle and WH40Kify things). Firedrake Cordova
Thanks for posting this. What with the Frostgrave/Dark Alchemy giveaway, and now this, they are being pretty generous, aren't they? ++EDIT: Just flipping though the Hawker Hurricane one, wondering if it'll help for Aeronautica Imperialis (even if I was thinking of a Luftwaffe-based scheme) ... the bright blue racing Hurricane looks ... odd  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/363082-inspirational-material-osprey-publishing-free-ebooks/#findComment-5503250 Share on other sites
Slave to Darkness
If I didn't have all the books I need on my hard drive already I would be all over this. For those who have never read an Osprey book I say go download yourselves some now, a lot of good stuff in such a tiny book.
