I Finally Finished my Renegades and Heretics Army!

Hello everyone, I finally finished my Renegades and Heretics army, the Nostroman 9th Mercenary Company!

Though, how do you judge it the be "finished"?  From my experience, there's always a unit or two one could add.

Ruminahui, You make a great point. Are any of our 40K armies ever completed? Suffice it to say that "finished" means all owned R&H models are painted.

 

Of course, as you know there are always little projects that I might take on in the future.

 

Some of these might include:

 

□ 10 Jailbirds, 5 troops and 5 command, Raging Heroes, $70

-OOP but available from some vendors: Blackstone Fortress, Servants of the Abyss, contains 7 Blackstone Fortress Traitor Guard, 2 Chaos Beastmen, 1 Chaos Marine, 1 psyker, and some other models to add to bitz box, $50

-Blackstone Fortress, Cultists of the Abyss, contains 8 cultists, $25

-Unter of the Crimson Legion, from Artel, $15

-Lizardman heads, Zinge Industries, $4

-1 Beastmaster Ogryn, Scibor Miniatures, $30

-1 Warper Alpha One, counts as ogryn, from Quantum Gothic, $12 plus shipping

-1 Ogrun Trench Buster, counts as Ogryn, Privateer Press, $30

-3 Chaos Chimeras/Hellhounds, $200?, using halftracks from Mortian

-10 White Star Squad troopers, Meg's Girls, from Maxmini, $70

-10 plastic Dark Eldar Wyches, some w Bulletprood masks, $40

-10 Lykan Sawtooth Close Combat Squad, from Mad Robot Minis  $40

-10 Dark Elf AOS witch Aelves, $60

-2 Hasslefree Miniatures Mawes, to be used as Chaos Mauler Hounds, $20

-6 or so infantry models from Twisted, a Steampunk game from Demented Games, $80

Congrats! It is a huge accomplishment for any army to be done to a point that someone can come out and say that.

 

Although...you know...a super heavy or two would look real nice in your colors...

I love your horde. You definitely went full-bore with the idea of a rag-tag army. 

 

The two leman russes are my favorite parts. Using a Defiler body is such a danm good idea.

I've kept an eye on your army and been living my 40k life vicariously through your battle reports for ages now. Congratulations on "finishing" an army!

 

I recently finished* my Death Guard, so I know how awesome it feels to get a fully painted force to display. Glad to see someone else achieve the same.

 

*Well I say finished, but a jackass friend of mine bought me another Blighthauler I'm considering chopping up to be a Daemon Prince.
