I've recently been trying to get back into the swing of doing at least some painting, after RL issues having sapped both my opportunities and motivation for a rather long time. However this has also meant that a few of my older paints have dried up into a nasty, unusable mess. As they date from before GW changed the names of all the paints I'm completely at a loss as to what the correct analogues are (assuming I can find them in stock somewhere) and my usual approach of 'go to GW with the dried up pot and ask/compare' is obviously not an option atm, So my question is, what GW (and other manufacturers') paints are replacements for the following old paints?

Scorched Brown

Bestial Brown

Bubonic Brown

Snakebite Leather

Thanks in advance.

If you want to get exact matches, the original range is now produced by Coat D'Arms. The names have been changed for obvious reasons but the shades should be an exact match for the old GW paints.

You can find their conversion chart here. The only one I cannot see is scorched brown.

It's not exact, but the GW entries are what the punters were provided with at the time.

As Karhedron said, the old range was made by Coat D'Arms, and is available through a mix of their historical and fantasy ranges - you can see their "range poster" here (linky).  As you're in the UK, they shouldn't be hard to get hold of via mail order, although the Vallejo Game Color range was made as an analog of the old GW range, so if you have difficulties getting Coat D'Arms paints, you could look there, too (they're in the conversion chart Jolemai linked to).  Also, there are some third-party stockists such as Colonel Bills', which give discounts (not an endorsement - I've never used them).

If you want the actual conversion chart GW provided, you can find it here (note: it's "closest match", rather than "exact match"):  http://www.tabletopgamer.com/citadel-paint-conversion-chart-your-ultimate-guide/

P.S. If you like the old Citadel paints, have a look at the Formula P3 (Privateer Press) range.  As with the old GW paints, the range was designed by Mike McVey, and is made to the same formula as the Coat D'Arms ones. There are some very nice "natural fantasy" colours in there, specifically the browns, greens, off-blacks, plus Coal Black
