Well, I haven't been painting much, but I just finished an Armiger for House Ærthegn, will use it also in 40k. Haven't decided how to do the base yet. 

I also was thinking of making a Knight army with Solar Auxilia allies in the future, when the rules for HH 3.0 are released in full.

 

 

In the end I got the Forgeworld Night Lords transfer sheet, so maybe next month I will post some finished tacticals, and maybe some recons with kitbashed nemesis bolters!

Knight Rider colour schemes look always ace if done right and you did it very good.

I recovered some of "appetite" and I started assembling my Justaerin. And in the middle, I make a Chaplain/Overseer from scratch.

No sure about the head,but I'm going to glue the arms.

I have a hobby question about the Contemptor Dreadnought. I got my hands on two Contemptors and I'm looking for a classic style Cyclone launcher for them. Does anyone have a scale comparison of the old Contemptor Cyclone launcher and the one that's on the Iron Warriors Tyrant Terminators? They look pretty similar so I'm curious if they are the same scale.

I used the old Dreadnought cyclones to convert Tyrant Siege Terminators before the official models came out. 

I don't have the officials to compare to but there is an obvious difference.

 

 

The actual missile pods look similar, it's the joining pieces between them that create the difference.

If you were so inclined you could probably get them closer.

Thanks. That's perfect. When I compare the official Tyrants to your conversion the missile pods seem to be about the same size, most of the size increase comes from the middle part. I think the Tyrant parts should be good enough replacement.

I made some small progress on the flamer squad.

And now I’ve hit a little problem. I also made a recon/seeker, but I forgot I no longer have the bits to complete the squad (which as you can see is already totally mismatched).

So the new chap might have to be techmarine, robot operator or whatever. That leaves me with 5 bodies to make a plasma squad (yay) except then I won’t have a sergeant for the flamer squad (boo). Off to the bits store again … I really want to get all my current marines built before shiny mk ii take over (or even mk iv before too long!?)
