Finished a few consuls recently- Delegatus Lasraad is based off of a mini I saw online but I cannot remember the originator. My homage is on the right:

 

 

I like how his shoulder pad came out: 

 

 

Also enjoyed how my Esoterist turned out. My plan for the skin tones was a "borg" look, and turns out they came out looking more Harkonnen than I expected as an added bonus. 

 

 

More pics and lore in my project blog. Looking forward to when the new assault marines and breacher sets become readily available!

Thanks mate! I think so too, got the bases ready now so they just need painted up. I'm happier with them now I've slept on them. It's balancing time spent I suppose and I don't want to spend 2-3 hours per model on a 20-man squad so there's going to be a dip in quality batch painting 14 models compared to my usual 5.

Cheers! One I think is from the old Deathwing Knights kit, the other is from a 3D printed set I picked up a year or two ago.

Militia Tank taking up position to repel the World Eater onslaught. Cavalry squad with Force Commander in support position ready to counter any Space Marine infantry.

 

 

Infantry squad with sniper taking up overwatch position ready to pour fire into any World Eater infantry that tries to overwhelm the militias defensive positions!

 

Tylos Rubio was supporting the Militia today. With his help the squad got precision shots at 5+ and were able to kill the enemy Praetor. That was really cool! 

 

 

how was the walker to build ? did you have to cure it any more or is mortan doing that properly now?

Been a while, but the previews of 3.0 have me super excited for heresy again. I'm chipping away on my slowly growing Iron Warriors, but I really want to have the rulebooks so I can work out lists before building and painting too much.

So in the meantime I've knocked out a test model for a small Siege of Terra White Scars force I've wanted to do for a while.

I built it 2 years ago but I don't recall any issues with it. Got a second kit but a transport and it's also flawless.
