They fire once in the shooting phase then again when they assault, previous edition was once in the shooting phase only right?

 

Granted one is a snap shot so it's more like an additional half shot, but for Sons of Horus it's at full BS

I have finally finished a Rhino with tank riders. I will say this idea very nearly went into the bin a couple of times, a few bits were quite tricky, but after some finger stabbings and dropped glue pots here is the finished article.

Finished the first 2 assault rams for my wolves 3rd one to be done soon. Then i need bases and flight stands.

They lost line in the process, lost the extra

 attack from charging, lost functional apothecaries, never want to take those Pistol shots because they might mess with their charge (and mean their target gets to shoot too) and are stuck on vanguard 2 which is somewhere between a very marginal scoring buff that isn't worth the effort you have to put in to score it and a straight up downgrade to not having a scoring related rule at all, depending on the mission. All their power weapons got worse and more expensive as well. So yeah, nerfed to hell.

I'm so jealous! I tried get one but I had no luck. They look really cool! The left one looks especially cool! 

 

I built wound markers for my field guns. Not sure about the second one from the right. His head is a bit big.

I would say quite the opposite. He is the only one where the size of his head matches those feed. 

Why are their feed so big? ( ゜o゜)

But funny though that you call them wound markers.

Thanks, i may add some decals to push the space wolves connection but ive not found many that fit both the style or even the areas on the mini. 

 

I have a 3rd one that i started base coating red last night.

 

Next up is some non jump infantry to put inside them. Maybe some terminators would be cool.

Now that you mentioned it I see what you mean. Well, they have big feet because they grew up in a very slippery planet

Finished my two Magos Dominus (Dominii? Dominuses?).

The army is not finished but I've now painted all the (Mechanic in) models I currently own so that's satisfying.

Been distracted with some AoS stuff but I will endeavour to get some Thousand Sons done soon.

Here is my veteran tactical squad done for 3.0.

 

They are equipped with volkite chargers for the choom. Also the legion rules help ;)

Any other SoH players find Reavers disappointing? Actually thinking about skipping them this edition.

Not a Sons of Horus player, but they are too expensive for what they do.  Thankfully you Reaver models can be used in Centurion Command Squads and Veteran Assault Squads to pretty much the same effect for a massive points discount. 

 

Note: on foot they lose Precision (6+) and Vanguard (3) for ~33% points discount and with JPs they lose Precision (6+) and the ability to take Special Weapons for ~25% points discount

 A little,yes. Even with the little extra of the legacies allowing to use lighting claws. But for for me,nearly everything in this edition it's a bit(or more) disappointing...

 

Nice squad, by the way. I like the colour of the volkites,but in my army I won't use it because I use it for rad stuff,and so. But a very nice unit,indeed.

I thought the Grey Knights' Heavy Flamer was too clean looking so I wacked some Cadian Flamer tanks (from the old sprue) on the front.  Which is a terrible idea from a practical point of view but looks much more brutal!  

 

 

I've also done 85% of my Bikers but I didn't take any pictures before putting them away...

I got out my Tartaros and Biker Squads for photography and retook my Jump Pack Command Squad with HQs as I've added a few more since last time you've all seen them.  I now have a Champion/Centurion/Praetor, Herald/Banner Bearer, Apothecary & Librarian for each Command Squad (JP, Terminator & Biker)!
