Edit: After I made the picture I saw that I sprinkled my keyboard with paint and the stuff I strip models off paint the evening before which created that nasty look. First up is my Thanatar. And a Krios. And finally finished the full 20 Thralls. So happy I went down the oil wash route. Would have been a nightmare to get through otherwise. III parts and the second will have Shotguns and Volkite, with lots of Mk. III mixed in with some very old Chaos bits. The idea was that the Shotguns would count as Volkite, so one squad would be the firebase and the second the manoeuvre element. From my side I'm slowly moving forward with my Destroyer squad: Love the scheme on the Armiger @Mana the striped shoulders are most striking! Nice lightning effects on your Nightlords too. Those daemon brutes are, well, brutal @sarabando. Some really cool officer builds too. The Knight's looking cracking @Hungry Nostraman Lizard, nice use of transfers. Always good to see your Nightlords and the gaming table is coming on awesome as well. Love those Castellax @Corswain the hand print on the leg guard is a super cool touch. Lost the first game against Blackshields with some loyal World Eater dude. The second game was against World Eaters and I won 5:3. We played Blood Feud. Really fun games! Militia Tank taking up position to repel the World Eater onslaught. Cavalry squad with Force Commander in support position ready to counter any Space Marine infantry. Infantry squad with sniper taking up overwatch position ready to pour fire into any World Eater infantry that tries to overwhelm the militias defensive positions! Tylos Rubio was supporting the Militia today. With his help the squad got precision shots at 5+ and were able to kill the enemy Praetor. That was really cool! Jings Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:26 AM Been rattling through these Dark Angel tacs for a minute now, did the big push today to get them to the point they're finished (sans bases). Started with some Terminators, and I'm trying to somewhat simplify the painting process for the Tacticals seeing as I'm shooting for two big 20-man blocks. Not 100% satisfied with them individually if I'm to be honest, but I think they look pretty good in a group which was the plan anyway. Still have another six to go, plus their accompanying Centurion and Apothecary which are based up but still need a fair bit of work. I'm not very happy with the eyes but I'm trying to drill into my head that literally no one else is going to be examining them as closely as I will, but I might give the masonry a quick drybrush when I get to basing.
