Hi all,

 

I´m thinking about building a small army based on Suppressors and Inceptors.

 

What Chapter would you recomment to run these units?

 

 

A second question: is there any warlord trait / special rule available to SM which allows you to redeplay certain units?

Imperial fists are quite nice for Bolter Inceptors; Imperial Fists are just good for anything that uses a Bolter of any kind. They are not such an obvious pick for Suppressors but that +1D vs vehicles on the first turn can get a lot of work done. Both these units start at a very small squad size of 3 so also consider Crimson Fists as any target with 8 or more models will trigger their +1 to hit.

 

In addition to the other redeploys mentioned I rather like the Vanguard Lord of Deceit which lets you redeploy 3 Phobos units after rolling for seize but before the first player turn.

That´s exactly what I was looking for. Has every Chapter access to this trait (I mean, is it really a trait?)?

Dark Angels - Plasma Inceptors for 3 damage, deleting Land Raiders on the drop with a unit of 5 is nice!

 

Raven Guard - Plasma Inceptors - +1 to hit Characters is free Overheat

 

Ultramarines - Suppressors drop, and fire without penalty turn 2, turn 3 can reposition without penalty

 

Imperial Fists - Bolter Inceptors get extra hits

 

Blood Angels can reposition a squad a turn

 

Crimson Fists have an easy time to get +1 to hit
