Do the Enhanced Edition Codexes (the iBook only versions) update points costs or rules at any point? I couldn't find any definitive answer, and I assume because they don't advertise it on the site is because they don't update.

Is the small cost increase just for some small interactions and blow ups?

Was going to go 100% digital on the next generation of rules/codexes and wanted to know the differences and if the iBook versions are worth it over the epub. Thanks in advance.

So they get updated when a FAQ comes out and changes wording to clarify or correct? What about point changes with chapter approved in specific? Do they update with those costs eventually?

That's my biggest concern. I already get heartburn overpaying for supplies and upwards of 50,000% marked up plastic. I refuse to buy a book they sell that just fixes THEIR mistakes, ie: point cost imbalances (I know they add some more stuff in those books, but it's the principle).

I bought the epub3 version of the Forces of the AM book. Still absolutely cannot find an epub3 reader for Windows that is even remotely passable. The Warhammerdigital recommended piece of software has not even been updated since I bought this 3 years ago, and it is still ridiculously bad, being the best one of the bunch. Buy the hardcover and grab a pdf somewhere seems to be the most viable option to go digital. These enhanced editions are way too expensive for the weak, spotty updates they seem to receive. The non-enhanced epub3 versions get no updates, mind.

They have in my experience received any updates or changes a unit or datasheet in the codex has received they've received as well. It generally happens within a week or two of release.

So I just verified that they do update the regular epub codexes too, it's just not automatic. I just re downloaded one of my codexes from my account on GW and it had all of the new point drops too from chapter approved and corrected wording on stuff from faq's. Don't need to use iBooks!

Yeah the EBook stuff is actually amazing imho. Its 100% one of the things GW has done really well this edition
