Finalizing my Ironwing Dark Angels list and have been looking into equipping some veteran tacticals with combi-grenade launchers to ensure when they are assaulting some traitors they get to strike before the enemy gets a chance to strike via judiciously applied stasis grenades. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any immediately apparent combi-grenade launchers available (the only one I find in the ForgeWorld store is the Tartaros terminator equipment pack that has a combi-bolter that has four options available, which doesn't really fit my Mk III -equipped veterans). Any good tips from fellow Heresy enthusiasts on available solutions or should I just dig out my old plastic Cadian grenade launchers / Ravenwing command squad grenade launchers and get to chopping?

Unsure about GW or Forge World, but Pop Goes the Monkey has three variations of Marine-sized Combi-Grenade launchers:

To confuse you (because yay) there is another Cataphractii weapon set.

www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Cataphractii-Special-Weapons-Upgrade-Set-2016

For your purposes it'd be the same but this one was specifically designed for use with the plastics (giving you more arms) so if you were to pick up some Terminators you'd probably want this one (really want to see FW put out a Tartaros pack like this with their style of combi-weapon etc, made sense to kill the one for the resins but had hoped we'd get one put out).

I appreciate you're probably after more an over/under style like power armoured combi weapons but I can't think of an official source without converting (may or may not be important to you, I know some places allow no third party pieces which is a shame).

Just trawl ebay and pick up 10 of these of bad boys. A full squad of the only over/under combi-grenade launchers made by FW is a true show of strength to whoever is facing you on the other side of the table!

That last one is nice since it seems to be a Tigris pattern boltbun, but I am looking for a combi-grenade launcher on a Phobos pattern boltgun to match the rest of my Mk III armored veterans.

Since the Tartaros equivalent set is now gone, this one is technically the only legit FW/GW one you can get: https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-CA/Cataphractii-Special-Weapons-Set

<snip>

D'oh, I meant to write Cataphractii but for some reason wrote Tartaros. In either case while that one is a closer match to the Phobos pattern boltgun the rest of the squad has, I would prefer to have it more on an under-/overslung version to match the other combi-weapons my power armored marines use. I don't know if it is because of Chaos terminators having combi-weapons for a long time or what, but for some reason that side-by-side combiweapon just screams traitor to me.

How many are you after? A quick solution might be the Cataphractii Grenade Harness cut in two and glued to the Bolters

This is a really intriguing idea and I do believe I might have some extra Cataphractii grenade harnesses laying around. Thanks a lot, this could definitely work!

Whoa, so this design actually exists? Now I just need to figure out which miniature this one is to see if any are available on eBay for a reasonable price. If they are not, then I could go for Grotsmashas simple yet elegant idea.

Thanks alot everyone for answers, thanks to you I now have an idea of where to start!

It's the limited edition Forge World Boarding Marine, from 2011.

Yeah, found out about that after a cursory search. Probably not going to spend 100+ euros on a single combi-grenade launcher even if you get a sweet model out of it as well. Time to find the grenade harness and get to work.

You could also snip some Space Marine shotguns juuuuuust right and get grenade launchers that way.

Especially if you can find the (no longer sold) Forgeworld ones.

You can't find them by themselves (by Forge World at least), but they DO come in the Legion Recon Squad:

Per the description:

'The Legion MkIV Recon Squad contains five multi-part resin models, each of which has two different weapon options; a sniper rifle or a shotgun.'

So there's five shotguns in that kit.
