Marine appropriate heads with long hair

Spellcrow has some decent ones, imo:

Most of them might be a bit too manly for the baby-faced Blood Angels though....

i quite like the hair, but the faces themselves seem kinda weird on them tbh, Eyes and brows and cheeks seem very exaggerated. If i sculpted hair onto an existing head they'd be good inspiration though!

I did find these:

which can be purchased in 5 6 or 7mm, i think 6mm is right for primaris scale. But not totally sold on how they'd look on a BA. I like second from the left on the bottom possibly.. but a shouting face maybe isn't quite right for the pose.

The Puppetswar.eu-Range is huge and the casts are great. These vampires might fit your bill: https://puppetswar.eu/noble-vampire-heads.html

Alternatively other human heads from Fantasy/ AoS? The size seems to work most of the time, especially older models have comically huge heads for normal humans.

Oh wow those are quite nicely sculpted. Definitely worlds above the spellcrow faces. Many other companies, including Spellcrow, unfortunately are still on the level of old GW sculpting-wise so unforatunely I can't help with finding something useable. I'm definitely going to follow this thread though.

hmm i kinda like the smiling one from puppetswar. Quite cool... not a fan of the other 4, but the grinning one might be worth the punt of getting a set anyway! Forgeworld sigmar lack longish hair, but they're a really good shout for the general head collection to be fair!

Long hair seems to mean beards too - and a Blood Angel might want to be clean-shaven? But I quite like the one with stubble/short beard. These might be a bit small, more for guardmen:

Maybe just get the new Saul Tarvitz model. Plenty of people out there want to give him a helmet, so you might even find the heads going spare.

i thought about Saul, he'd be perfect in some ways, but his hair blows the opposite direction to the cloak on the model, which is a bummer.

going to sculpt hair and see if i can get something similar in style to the shouty head i liked from warfaces 2.

That looks great. Is it the Dark Angels primaris head?

yeah, decided i quite liked it, pretty regal looking in terms of features, and the scars feel fitting on a blood angels vet - marring their perfect skin :biggrin.:

figured i may as well use it, seeing as i used his sword too, bit of a waste of a 20 quid model if i only use the sword, whereas if i use the head its okay... right?

Yeah it works really well. I look forward to seeing him painted.

Now that I'm a little more settled into new home, I'm trying to get back into hobbying so figured this model would be a nice challenge. Will try and paint it for the board painting challenge I was thinking?!
