One of my genuinely favorite meme's, is idea of Hotpink armies (and lesser extent rainbow marines) because it is a exageration/excessiveness of the idea. But more legitimately but why would a marine hide there proud colours? And by extension in old days of Napeleon countries choose bright colour schemes so they could be seen, on fields of battle by allies. This would be reverse in this case, a chapter might choose a bright pink heraldic colour scheme so enemies cause see them and quake in there wake?

In a way choosing hotpink this heraldic would be so bright so it would be easily seeable, and to showcase the proudness of the chapter in there marineness. Now would what be a good secondary colour scheme? And chapter symbol, in a way that shows "You can see us and we don't care". And what kind of army or units you think you choose for flavor for this chapter?

The idea of hotpink marines is absurd, but in its absurdity I think its utterly and truly 40k. And always wanted to do a army or scheme around it, just hard to make into reality, and workshopping suggestions. In tl;dr version:

1) Army is Primaried Colour HotPink what would be a good secondary?

1b) What be a good heraldic symbol? Something that might be meme'y too but in line with concept, "I don't care you see me".

2) Army is about enemy "seeing" them not hiding, should I use excessive amount of banners?

2b) Its about them being proud of colours, how that a core army concept?

3) What kind of units would be flavorful?

3b) What chapter lineage might best suite this?

Feudal Japan offers a precedent.

Pink is associated with sakura, the cherry blossom, which is a national symbol associated with warriors.  Why?  Because like the sakura, which bloom early then quickly fall, the life of the samurai is beautiful yet brief.

The Canon 40k Emperor's Children CSM color is Pink/Black, so you would want to avoid that combination.
I might suggest something like Pink/Silver or Pink/Gold, keep to warm, complementary colors.
Banners seems like something that would go with making sure that everyone knows who they are. N1SB suggested the Japanese precedent of sakura, so I's suggest looking up some samurai marine armies, as they often have some neat back banners for squads.

Very bold choice with hot pink..... I salute you.

Here are some suggestions for colors that compliment your choice:

Blues(light), white, turquoise, reds(no dark reds), greens (not emerald), purple(might be too Slaaneshy), orange.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

The sakura/cherry blossom idea i a very good one, and could help make things a lot easier, since the icons of the SoB Orders of the Bloody/Sacred Rose both seem to be heavily inspired by the traditional sakura drawings, which means if you were to use red or white as a complementary color, they already have transfers you could potentially use...

1) Army is Primaried Colour HotPink what would be a good secondary?

White or very light silver trim and Aquila, perhaps some very small burgundy accents (edging on the white to make it pop more?).

1b) What be a good heraldic symbol? Something that might be meme'y too but in line with concept, "I don't care you see me".

Any type of stylised flower, perhaps a Tudor rose, a mix of the red and white? Honours may be a 'crown of thorns'.

2) Army is about enemy "seeing" them not hiding, should I use excessive amount of banners?

Lots of personal banner sounds good if they are the in-line Samurai style (see below)

2b) Its about them being proud of colours, how that a core army concept?

The are distraction marines, dropped in to focus the enemies attention. They save the day, they are the cavalry. Everyone sees them; the allies adore them and the enemy notices their arrival. Special rule may be 'Cavalry!' and they can only deploy as part of a mixed force, and only if your allies army is getting a kicking. This means in the beginning of the game you are at a disadvantage, so perhaps you get a few more points to spend of cavalry, I mean Hotpink Space Marines.

3) What kind of units would be flavorful?

FAST! If everyone is going to be shooting at them, they better get a motor one. Hot rodded Bike and jump packs. Maybe white flame decals. Better take some armour fields.

3b) What chapter lineage might best suite this?

Blood Angel. Their Death Company screams 'look at me' and 'I don't care'. Perhaps your chapter revere the Death Company as the 'final form' and true expression of the chapter's creed? Death Company at the front and all the rest of the chapter trying to keep up. As a meme the Death Company are super chad alpha MGTOW (which, now that I've said it, sounds like a meme in and of itself - one step away from Angry Marines).

In line with the Samurai, perhaps the Death Company is white, the colour of death in japan, with hotpink trim and hotrod flames?

The hotpink could represent the 'blood mist' in heraldic terms?

What is the name of your chapter?

A name for a fast attack Blood Angel successor, faster than the wind?

Blood Storm marines?

Perhaps a stylised dark red tornado for the chapter symbol, or lighting strike?

Pink isn't actually an outlandish colour to be honest. Although a paler shade it was used on spy planes during the second world war as camouflage around sunrise and sunset.

You also have have planets that may have different light spectrums so in some cultures the colour may be seen as a more natural colour so you don't necessarily had to try that hard to justify the scheme.

Personally I'd play on the dawn/dusk attack aspect or work something into their lore where pink is seen as a warrior colour on their home world. Perhaps it is at dusk that the most vicious predators emerge to feed on their home world and the warriors of the tribes adorn themselves in pink garments to mask themselves during the hunt of these creatures as a rite of passage.

If you were to go this route something lke a crescent moon or something to represent the creatures they hunt would work well.

If you want to go outlandish then a knightly theme would work just as well.

I'll stick with my reasonable marine schemes but salute new frontiers ;D

Hot pink is hard to look at after a while. I would suggest so that the scheme has more durability and cosmetically pleasing to paint going with a softer/muted pink. Cherry blossoms have white and darker red elements. I think N1SB has made an excellent suggestion for going this direction. Secondary color while and strategically placed red where its barely noticed but can enhance the piece it's attached too.

Best of luck :)

A friend if mine has a Tau army that is a combination of hot pink and white.

To be honest they look amazing on the tabletop, so I wish you good luck in this venture. Go with white as the secondary colour, and use it liberally.

I'm now imagining screaming Samurai-styled Astartes in hot pink armour.

It is glorious
