Number of attacks question

If a unit of Space Marines who have 1 attack on their data sheet has the psychic power Gift of Contagion successfully cast on them and the result is -1 attacks (to a minimum of 1 attack) until the casters next psychic phase, would that spell apply towards additional attacks from things like Shock Assault where that unit gets +1 attacks or does it just effect the number of attacks they had when the spell was cast?

 

Edit: I believe I found the answer, all modifiers are cumulative, so it should effect the +1 attack. That would mean they only get 1 attack each in that scenario.

Well it doesn't say numbers of attacks on the datasheet and it doesn't say that the effect stops once you hit the minimum of 1 threshold so I'd say the +1 and -1 cancels eachother out.
