I've been procrastinating a bit lately, but I think I'm ready to get back to painting. I have to complete my pending Incursor first and then I'll pledge for the LPC with a strong plan to complete it before 16th June :)

After another 1.5 days of work on Mephiston:

I also made some progress. Got main colours sorted out and will now enhance them. The gold on the skulls on the back of the throne is what I'm aiming at for the whole model.

The black is shiny in places due to badly shaken Nuln Oil. This will be corrected later.

I was expecting it to take about three weeks based on general distractedness, but have done better.

Have been rearranging our living space to accommodate the little one growing (they do that, apparently), so my hobbying has been in stasis for a few days....though I got even further along with Mephy than my previous photo shows. The black cape and blood vials need some work as does the sword, but we are now entering the “endless touch up and just one dab of extra highlight on that corner” phase.
