Sanguinor kit bash question

I know I am not the first to think of this but I have been searching for some examples and was wondering if anyone has ever made or seen a Sanguinor made from a Knight Azyros, or Sanguinary Guard made from Prosecutors? I was hoping to get ideas on what bits to use, I can probably get alot of bits from the Sanguinary Guard kit but wanted to ask if anyone knew of any other good kits for Blood Angels bits.

A great looking model to use as a base. Another possible place to look for parts is the Blood Angels accessory sprue. As well as the Death Mask, it also has a Grail that the Sanguinor carries (although has no rules).

Someone in this forum made some Sanguinary Guard with the flying stormcast when they were released, but I dont think they made a Sanguinor. I think it would look great, just make sure you get the archtypical rounded shoulderpads in there with the death mask.

 

Sanguinary guard blades are ok, but I'd personally try to find a match for his knightly sword, the double edge and wide blade are quite unique to the character - the terminator captain or vanguard veteran relic blades may work, with a modified crossguard.

I'd also suggest GS'ing the comets into blood drops, or using the tail of the comets as blood drip?

And more skulls, obviously
