His audience with Vulkan in Old Earth shows how tenuous his grip is, hence Vulkan's final duty. battle captain corpus Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 Essentially whilst he defeats the main threat from Master of Mankind...he still has a horrific battle on his hands. You also have to think that he's THE psyker at play now. Who knows what untold strings he is pulling for his loyal sons during the siege? Is he bolstering their mental reserves, fighting daemons in the Webway, channeling strength to those who need it?
