I'm looking to make a set of Deathwing for space hulk and would like to do the opposite: base them like the blood angels from 3rd/4th edition. Anyone ever tried this, or have any tips for pulling it off? (you'll get a redirect from the link that will take you to the commission painter's website, but it shows the image) Thick plasticard. Even better - metal plates cut to shape (2-3mm). The problem that those miniatures have is that their bases allow them to tip over too easily. They work well enough in the game because the spaces are smaller than the round bases that Terminators normally go on.
