But now that there's a new edition, everyone NEEDS new content, instead of new content only being needed by those who still needed it at the end of the previous edition. Put another way, while we were in 8th, there was a chance for IA and ALL of the neglected factions, because there was nothing left for the big selling armies. It's looking like the are seven new units for marines on release day. If not for 9th, those releases would have been spread out over a year with stuff for other factions in between. I feel like that would have been better for both the range and the game than a 9th edition. Of all the factions from whom attention is about to drawn, Imperial Agents was always the least likely to get a dex. The refocus ended the slim chance we had. I mean, the marines will have had their 9th edition drop on release day, but what about Space Wolves and Blood Angels? Because the new starter set is based around *marines* and *xenos* there is not an imperial agents book possible? And all the forces just GOT new content by the end of Psychic awakening. So sure maybe they can pump out consolidated books but...that doesn't stop them from dropping new ones too.
