Bjorn Firewalker
You're a skilled painter. What do the black flames symbolize? 1ncarnadine
Hot damn these are looking good. Great job on the yellow in particular! Is that also the start of a Ruptura maniple? depthcharge12 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364143-dc12%E2%80%99s-legio-fureans/page/3/#findComment-5588139 Share on other sites
Doctor Perils
The reaver and warhounds are awesome, really like the panel shading :tu: if I may though, the Reaver's yellow looks a smidge darker than the warhounds'. The Warbringers are shaping up really well, I like the opposing shoulder panels, they feel like a pair without being copies or straight up mirrors. @Bjorn: that's the official Fureans colour scheme :) https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Tiger_Eyes depthcharge12 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364143-dc12%E2%80%99s-legio-fureans/page/3/#findComment-5588195 Share on other sites
Mandragola
This is impressive work. Fureans are producing engines at a very rapid rate. Some kind of intervention may be required before things get out of hand. depthcharge12 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364143-dc12%E2%80%99s-legio-fureans/page/3/#findComment-5588279 Share on other sites

Mendi Warrior
Wonderful! They are absolutely gorgeous! One improvement I would suggest is to drill the barrels of the turbo laser destructor (same for laser blasters and some of the other weapons). It adds more realism imho. Looking forward to your next steps Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364143-dc12%E2%80%99s-legio-fureans/page/3/#findComment-5593123 Share on other sites
depthcharge12
More progress. I just got in another warlord and some carapace weapons, so that’s on my to do list. depthcharge12
New to the Legio Fureans is the Tormento Magno or the Great Agony: The Magno was released to the Legio during the early days of its discovery in order to seal the pact between Incaladion and Mars. This decision would, covertly, be one of many to pull the Legio Fureans to the side of the Mechanicum rather than the liberating force of the space marine legion that conquered the planet. As is fitting of many Warmaster Titans, it languished as a hanger queen in the vaults of the Legio, only to be brought out in dire need to defend the forge against eldar raiders. This would change with the heresy, however, as the Tormento Magno would see near peer combat against its former sister Legios during the cataclysmic battle of Beta-Garmon. Postscript: I sourced the vertical lines from a very old image of the early Titan models. This old gem was the font of inspiration for the scheme: Edited July 15, 2021 by depthcharge12 Noserenda, LameBeard, Bjorn Firewalker and 1 other 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364143-dc12%E2%80%99s-legio-fureans/page/3/#findComment-5720137 Share on other sites

schoon
That's an excellent Titan. Well done! I like the "tails" added to some of the flames.
