SilverShire
Can anyone remember what sales/discounts forge world have done in the past? I remember a couple years ago that there was a sale on dreadnaughts (arms only?) and was just wondering if they are likely to do something similar again. Noserenda
Its usually things like buy a complete dread get one arm free, or buy a bundle of stuff and save a bit Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364178-previous-fw-sales/#findComment-5530660 Share on other sites
MARK0SIAN
The Dreadnought one is the main one. They also occasionally give a discount when buying multiple stuff. For example buying 3 Deimos rhinos is a cheaper bundle than buying them separately. Just be wary though, they sell a lot of bundles of things and most of them don’t offer any saving at all compared to buying the stuff separately. Ishagu
The Dread deal was good. I bought a few Contemptors and was able to equip them cheaper. It was a nice saving. AenarIT
They had a free shipping promo a couple of years ago, before changing their prices to local currencies and implementing a free shipping threshold. Last year (or was it two years ago already?) we had the Dreadnought promo already mentioned. MegaVolt87
The permanent bundles are actually quite a saving eg the x3 demios rhino. Its also not difficult to get the free shipping with what FW costs, so there is that. Wouldn't mind another dread sale to happen though. Yeah the all the bundles on FW actually save you some money, unlike the GW bundles which only save you a couple of clicks. Yeah the all the bundles on FW actually save you some money, unlike the GW bundles which only save you a couple of clicks. They don’t all save you money though. Some are there for convenience. You’ve got to be careful when looking. For example: https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Subterranean-Assault-Group-2018 This group of Terrax drills costs £252 which is exactly the same as £84 (cost of 1) X 3. Some of the bundles have a good saving like the sicaran ones but definitely not all the bundles.
