Separate upgrade kits are not as appealing a a unit though. LGS hate stocking stuff like that, its very specialized to sell. However a 5 man box that could be both a despoiler squad, an assault squad, with plenty of melee weapon upgrades etc would be far more desirable to put on the shelf. Even a GW store stocks little if any 40k upgrade kits themselves, favouring actual unit boxes. Anyway, its all academic, more plastics won't happen for HH until GW is ready to make HH a mainstream specialist game that's properly, universally supported in its own stores. Its the black sheep of the family right now.

The smartest move for GW with HH imo would be to take the minis from calth and add an updated mini rulebook into a new starter set.

Agreed. A sort of "SC! box series".

We can separate it by 'armor marks'. Tartaro terminators,  Mark 4 space marines, contemptor could go into one. Mark 3 marines, cataphractii, contemptor into a second. We could maybe make them less generalized, and make them a Space Wolves  box and a Thousand Sons box, and throw in those lovely Ahriman and Geigor sculpts in there.

I digress though. I'd love new plastic sculpts for *proper* Outriders, Scimitar bikes, maybe a Leviathan.

It just does my head in that we got the necromunda terrain you can use for zone mortalis, start collecting boxes in that split of marks for HH would have been a no brainer to release at the time, the kits already exist, would be the easiest product to launch IMO. They even revised the HH zone mortalis rules, they are still on the main site.

im sure ive posted this before but a box with the ZM scenery 10 plastic breachers 10 mkIII marines plastic casterferrum mkIV  vs 20 mk4 5 termies and a generic praetor or something like that as a intro to ZM would be a great box Ultras Vs Word bearers and call it "Void War" or some :cuss.

I reckon the best method is to not keep quiet and keep pestering them on their socials. I see plenty of people do it on the FW Facebook page, and a few over on the ol' twitter (which they seem to be fairly active on now)

Every thread has a "bring back calth... or something similar" remark on it.

"Void War" would fit best Imperial Fists vs Iron Warriors at Phall.

What I'd love most would be an Istvaan III box like it was rumored when Tarvitz first came out: MK2 marines, the plastic Contemptor (representing Rylanor), some termies (Indomnutus hopefully, so FW gives them rules) or MK2 assault marines, and a couple characters like in the Prospero box. It they could be Crysos Morturg or Durask Rask. Shame that Tarvitz is resin, he would've been perfect to lead the Loyalists.

Just repeating the formula of Betrayal at Calth.

Indomitus does have rules in 30k.

They just dont get the additional benefits of either Tartaros (sweeping advance) or Cataphractii (Slow & Pourposeful and a 4++).

Which is the same as saying they get nothing. Indomnitus pattern is said to have helmet sensors that surpass even those of the Tartaros pattern.

Why not give them rules centered around that? Night Vision, Interceptor, Ignores Cover, Djinn Sight, or something like that.

FW has no reason to keep sidelining the Indomnitus pattern, they don't sell resin termies anymore.

Not gonna lie, I have an absurdly detailed release structure for my ideal version of a core plastic Heresy range, centred around Start Collecting! sets for each Legion, each Mark of power armour as well as the Solar Auxilia, Taghmata, Legio Cybernetica & Ordo Reductior

I can dream at least...

Right, how do we get our sleeper agent into GW main to do this? Hydra Dominatus. :teehee:
