I have some pouches I need to paint and want it to really pop versus black armor. jaxom Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 I actually just did this as part of painting something else. You end up with black that has the faintest tint of brown in the recesses. Snakebite Leather on Grey Seer, however, is some sort of warp magic. Okay, I spaced out a bit on posting this, but here's Snakebite Leather on black, followed by a second very generous layer of Snakebite Leather. I really sloshed it on; I was going for a natural wood look and any pooling helped. It's a bit hard to see in the picture but it's kind of got a dark mahogany look. The lighter lines are a fleshtone mixed in to make stripes.
