Roderikum
Greetings brothers! I've been wondering, watching the "spurious" Justiciar's datasheet if classic marines (supously defined as "Firstborns") could be treated as Blackshields (in a 30k fashion) in the new edition... What do you feel about it? It would be a nice way to give us old veterans a nice way of keeping our extense collections still functional. Let's talk about it! If you want... Marshal Reinhard
No need to put quotation marks around spurious with regards to the Judicar's sheet. It was a very obvious fake. Not really a 30k player here, but my understanding is that black shields were different kinds of marine outcasts, what would be the logic or rationale for classic marines all being made outcasts again? Because they refuse to be primarised? What's the angle? They're still members of all the different chapters they belong to, that wouldn't change, and functionally they'll be legal to play through GW's legends system, that's pretty much the whole point of that system. At any rate, black shields ARE cool, and it is a cool idea for an army, one that I think you should do if you feel like, but it won't really be something that'll we see for the wider lore... painting.for.my.sanity and Lord_Caerolion 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364262-what-ifc-sm-blackshields/#findComment-5533160 Share on other sites
