StrangerOrders
Gotta admit, that is some sexy art right there. I have made my peace with the downfall of the Firstborn in 40k (as long as they live on in 30k) but I am super pleased to see that they are finally being shown to live on in the Primaris, both with the style of this art and the upcoming releases. Joe
After a bit of discussion with someone else, I'm fairly certain this art is by the legendary Paul Dainton, who recently (2018) made the jump to digital with his work for Blackstone Fortress. Blindhamster
Sad Thunderhawks are flying away beacause they can't transport those Primaris. Thunderhawks can carry primaris though... Blindhamster
We got a close up of the standard bearer in art form too in the blood Angels picture Also a tech marine in the background- interesting as everything else is a primaris marine. Standard bearer and the new chaplain.... Have to admit I can't really tell what the Techmarine is. Klod
Sad Thunderhawks are flying away beacause they can't transport those Primaris. Thunderhawks can carry primaris though... Both Battlescribe and a quick Google Image search tell that they can't. Unless it was changed and I missed it. Ah, nevemind, you are correct. Im dumb. Marshal Reinhard
*snip* well yeah, i could spot where he was, I just can't really make out any details about him. Is he classic or not? Looks fairly typical techmarine... but mostly just looks like a major smudge. DuskRaider
There's a pic on Reddit of one of the new pieces of art that features a variety of as-of-now unknown Xenos that harkens back to some of the old artwork and it's everything I needed today. BadgersinHills
Statue of the pilgrims reminds me of Fulgrim. Great art though, the Guilliman and Abbadon one is excellent. Kite Senet
Frankly, I can't stand the Guilliman/Abaddon art (I think it is an awful use of contrast--the piece somehow looks both supersaturated and undersaturated because of the excessive use of a single vibrant color for each character) but the rest really is looking good, and I'm happy it doesn't follow too closely to the G/A art style (or Emperor forfend the silly cartoons of WarCom these days). I am going to miss the iconic hammer art cover though, if they're going to be using the Guilliman/Abaddon art on both the Indomitus and standard editions of the rulebook.
