JH.Miniatures
It's time to give some tutorial love to one of the least represented Chaos Legions, ironically, the Emperor's Children: I had a lot of fun in this Eavy Contrast Marines episode, wanted to make an original take on the pink and black colour scheme and I'm very happy with what I came up. I thought that some freehand to make the armour look like it's covered with flayed skin would be fun and very appropriate for Slannesh servants. As always all is Contrast Paints with extra Highlights. Hope you guys like it and thanks for watching! Evil Eye
Fantastic work! Gives me old-school 'Eavy Metal vibes (ala the 3.5 edition Chaos Codex's "showcase" section) and honestly with the exception of the stitches, that scheme could probably be done fairly quickly across a squad- even quicker if highlights were toned down a bit (which would still look acceptable if not as jaw-dropping). Top marks! Thanks and yes if you don't the stitches it will definitely be a super quick paintjob Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/364344-eavy-contrast-marines-emperors-children/#findComment-5540489 Share on other sites
