I love our Brother's youtube channel. I worry for him though. He might just snap when Perturabo or worse Omegon shows up with Dorn's bony digits ;)

Love you Brother especially the Primaris Crusade you've been building over the last year. Have me strongly thinking about turning the new 9e Marine release into a Crusade of Dorn's Son of my own.

I hope they don't bring back more Primarchs. We already have a narrative problem of too many Deus Ex Machina'd stalemate duels between plot essential characters who can't be killed off at the moment. Primarchs and even Abaddon should remain absent from most of the stories they tell and the focus should be on the myriad conflicts happening across the galaxy.

Pandora's Box has been opened already. There's no putting the Primarchs back into the "Mythical, Unseen beings" case now.

The silent king is supposedly even more powerful than the emperor. And the void dragon actually battled him to some extent.... like it or not, Titans are in the game now, and it’s only a mater of time before we see our primarch playable.

Not sure about that. Pretty sure silent king did not 1v1 with a star god and imprison it like the Emperor did solo. Necrons basically destroyed their empire to beat the C'tan.

There are plenty of naysayers who take delight in fragging the existing Primarchs. There was bunches of vocal youtubers that stated emphatically that Angron and Fulgrim were literally righty around the corner early on in eigth edition. With TSK and Void Dragon enroute who knows. We shall see what we see.

Hmmm, that is true. I thought it was From GW’s live stream that I heard them say something to the effects of “TSK would look at the emperor as another young upstart psyker” more or less. I took that to mean he wouldn’t be too impressed, but I suppose that could also be a mistake for him to do so?

Still, there’s some big players on the field, it would be nice if Marines didn’t have to paint blue to get theirs.

I dont like to see Primarchs everywhere. They should still be very rar. just one Primarch release per Edition would be okay.

I would prefer to expand, Focus and going deeper into the still existing loved characters like

Ahriman, Grimnar, Garadon, Helbrecht, Grimaldus, Khârn,...

But the problem is that with that approach, some will have their primarchs in a sane amount of time will others will not. 3 years per edition if we consider the time from 8th to 9th, so as we have one loyalist Primarch with two who are most definitely dead, that's 6 to go. So, we should see the last one in 15+ years (assuming we get one soon), eh? Nice. The problem is the same as with the separated chapters in general, some get their special dudes and some do not. Ultramarines already had a million named characters, and then they got a Primarch on top of it all too.

Now, I'm not saying to just plop all the Primarchs into the game just like that, it'd be a narrative nightmare more or less if nothing else, but regardless it's a bummer when some chapters get such things and others don't. Although of course it'd still always be a problem regardless unless they change the rules established so far, since if I recall correctly Guilliman only "works" for Ultramarines, but not their successors.

Maybe its the other way around!

In "Praetorian of Dorn", Dorn specifically cuts Alpharius's hands off before he kills him. This means Dorn is potentially wandering around with a spare pair of Prmiarch hands. Maybe he dropped one on the Sword of Sacrilege to fake his own death and disappear from public view. It would be an amusing irony if IF Chapter Masters had spent the last 9000 years engraving their names on Alpharius's bones. :biggrin.:

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at this one. I now need this to be true.
