Good to see you back and painting some new additions :tu: Any thoughts on what may be next?

A fourth group of scions!

 

 

Did my first attempt at a converted plasma gun with a boltgun. Not straight but good enough.

Also tried stubble on him and that I must say I'm very pleased with.

 

 

 

Next will be... more scions! With volley guns I think. Just have to finish my D&D orks first.

A good year of painting but only three games. Hope for a better gaming year next year.

A good way to round off the year :tu: It's unfortunate about games but that's how things are currently :( A good excuse to get models done ready for when the gaming can return in earnest though :)

Nurgle's rot caught me. Was ill for three days. Got off easy. Still some quarantine to do so have had time to paint 5 Skaven for D&D, 6 crusaders for AM 40k and almost 5 brigands for D&D as well.

 

Here are the crusaders:

 

Flagellant bodys,various heads, arms from sisters and ad-mech and shields from sigamarines. Bought second hand along much of the rest of what I've already painted. I swapped some of the heads and removed the hammers from three shields to be able to do a more imperial design.

 

They are alright. The colours are just straight yellow and blue for Sweden instead of my usual Swedish uniform theme.

Your crusaders look really nice although one of them seems to be trying to flee from the picture :)

The shields look really nice in my opinion.

Some of those AoS kits translate well into 40k.
