Strategic Reserves and Combined Assault

So, the new Strategic Reserves would allow us to put a Ravenwing Apothecary in reserve for 1CP, and then bring them on within 6” of the board edge but 9” away from the enemy. I wonder if we could then combine this with Combined Assault, meaning that we don’t have to worry about running a Ravenwing bike upfield in turn 1...

We'll have a specific "Reinforcement phase" after the Movement Phase. There was a picture about it in the first article about 9th on Warhammer Community.

Interesting. Whether that’s unique to Strategic Reserves, or for all actions that happen at the end of the Movement Phase will then be the key.

I imagine GW must have identified the shenanigans we could do with this, and may have written the rules in such a way as to impede it.

 

I don't believe they are aiming at giving us such a powerful delivery method for the DW.
