In preparation for "Crusade," I wanted to make another Ahriman, but without his Disc. Mine isn't magnetized, so this will serve as a 2nd option if I want to save 35 points or something and my disc one isn't magnetized... Plus it will offer a unique look within the army seeing as he is showing his face. You can probably identify most of the bits used.

Great kit bashing, the GS work really helps differentiate him from the norm too. Looks like the new Sorcerer staff? I was tempted by the model for my CSM but he didn't quite make the cut - very nice bits to steal though :P Looking forward to seeing him painted up :tu:

Great work, really nice conversion and pose. Love that helm, where's it from - the plastic AoS chaos lord? Looks like something from Dragons Dogma.

While Ahriman is supposed to have lost his true face, or people can't see it, this is probably what he would look like.

Yes from that Slaves to Darkness starter box. I had originally intended this model to be the new plastic sorcerer with that AoS helm (it looked SICK for a black legion guy) but it didn't fit in with the Thousand Sons kits I have sooo.. Here we are!

Yeah I liked the blurb from Iskender about Ahriman's face. This model's demeanor/pose is based off descriptions from Atlas Infernal. I loved that book. Czevak is definitely like Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes.

Haha, yes, I read the book as being like an episode of Dr Who, which is probably what the life of an Inquisitor is like. Should give it a re-read. I do need to get that new sorcerer, I see lots of people doing really nice stuff with him!
