Have to agree though, the first fan trailers looked much better than this newest one from GW.

I guess this is what happens when passion projects get picked up then hit the reality of expectations and deadlines?

Yeah this most likely. I bet the first version was made with a mindset along the lines of: "It's just for fun but I want it to look awesome so it's fine if it takes a few years, it's a huge project." and now it's more like: "Ah crap I need to be done with all this in a few months!"

I just watched it in my lunch break, really enjoyed it, looking forward to the next one.

Won’t say more so as to not spoil, but the title makes a wee bit more sense now.  :D

I started a review thread in the BL forum so as not to cloud the N&R thread:

Overall, loving this far much more than Angels of Death's first episode as an opening, even if it is suprisingly close in structure to it.

I just removed a bunch of decidedly off-topic posts (i.e., posts that weren't about The Exodite). Since this is now airing on Warhammer +, I've moved the topic to the Black Library forum.

Thank you. Is it possible to merge the threads?

I loved The Exodite episode.

The small moments, like the banter between the T'au waiting to deploy, were superb. The gestures were spot-on.

This really shows, more so than Angels of Death, what animated Warhammer and WH+ can do.

Does anyone know how many episodes this will be?
