The Angel
Quick question. Can Primarchs embark in a Caestus assault ram? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365126-assault-rams-and-primarchs/ Share on other sites
Darkwrath121
Unfortunately not, because according to the Caestus rules, they can only carry models in power, artificer, or terminator armour. According to the most recent FAQ, primarchs are in a unique type of armour, and any mention of type such as 'artificer' or 'terminator' armour is only for descriptive purposes. The Ironic Warrior
Dark is correct, due to the poor wording of the Caestus rules they cannot embark, and technically neither can some characters such as Abaddon due to the fact he isn't "technically" wearing Terminator Armour, Artificer Armour or Power Armour. It's a silly rule that needs updating (maybe to use model size like Bulky instead?) GodEmperorOfMankind
How would a primarch fit in there in any case? There's enough room for terminators to walk in single file, that's about it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365126-assault-rams-and-primarchs/#findComment-5566217 Share on other sites

To be fair, a Rhino's canonically 6.6 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 3.6 meters tall. So it's troop bay wouldn't be ROOMY, but it'd easily fit the ten Marines. So.... Basically like a modern APC  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365126-assault-rams-and-primarchs/#findComment-5566566 Share on other sites
Gorgoff
Well, they just have to buckle up the primarch under the thing and go for it. Honestly, I would pay a subscription fee to FW updates if they gave them a magna-grapple like Stormravens for exactly THAT purpose lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365126-assault-rams-and-primarchs/#findComment-5566818 Share on other sites
