Love: (1) the broad and substantial objective secured ability here; (2) forcing the enemy to choose between pointless targets and pointless targets.

Worries: (1) the list is a lot of models in consideration of available space and time taken for moving models; (2) facing the one guy bringing 3x wyverns.

Notes: My hunch is that this type of list will be best for guard. I'm worried tanks will be too expensive (despite some nice buffs in 9th edition). I also wonder if 'blast' will make that much of a difference. I mean if you plan on that infantry squad getting killed anyway, does it matter all that much if a battle cannon kills 3 or 6? Maybe.

I think blast is overrated against guard. Against this list it gives you a score of 3 min.... that's fine. If anything 10 man units are sweet spot. Horde..ish!

Deployment going to be a pain, but half army is static after that really, as new unit rules mean any movement of models = counts as moving. So you are in reality looking at 12ish units to move. This is doable, espeially with movement trays - which i think may have a renaissance as they sure make not forgetting unit coherency rules easier!!

Need to get it out on table top now - got a couple of weeks away on hols then will try and knock off fair chunk of remaining infantry models paint wise.
