Gaz1858
Regarding reserves for Bots - this isnt a great idea. Youll lose more than you gain really and due to the footprint some armies can cause you issues. Following the last game and reviewing some of the secondaries I have made a few changes to the list. I want to be able to play on, and deny, as many of the secondaries as I can. Bring It Down is still going to be the go to against me and there isnt much to do about that in Admech. I have decided to include a couple of Graia units in a mixed patrol detachment in order to deny psychic action secondaries whilst also being able to choose Abhor The Witch. This is a great ability that I think everyone should consider. The priests and transports have moved from the Mars det to the Mixed det and are now Stygies and theyre now both in volkite terrax drills. This means more available tactics for them in being able to DS or move 9" forward. Here is the list now. Mars Spearhead Cawl - Locum Strat for 9" rerolls 3 Serberys Raiders 4 Dakka Bots 3 Skorpius Disintegrators Mixed Patrol Mars TPE - Warlord Magos Trait Stygies TPE - Locum Strat for Prime Hermeticon 2 x 5 Graia Rangers or Vanguard (either one really) 2 x 10 Stygies Fulgurites inside Drills with Volkite Blasters To fit all these new units in i just removed the Onagers. The main reason for this is base size, its soooo huge that it causes tons of movement issues and placement problems so I decided that removing both of those in order to get the above was worth it. 1. Priests moved to stygies and both now have drills 2. 2 Graia troops for psychic denial 3. Some Serberys Raiders as theyre a good unit If the Prime Hermeticon doesnt work great I can remove that and take the Serberys Raiders to 5 Edited July 30, 2020 by Gaz1858 DanPesci 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365155-first-game-of-9th/page/2/#findComment-5575040 Share on other sites
