The maximum height of the images in signatures is 100 pixels. You'll need to shrink that image down. You can find the guidelines on what is/isn't allowed in signatures in the forum rules (click the "Obey!" link in my signature).

Setting a signature up is just like setting up a post. You can do some interesting stuff if you use the BBCode (see the BBCode Guide for help).

when i reduce to 100 pixel height it seems my logo is completely blurred out is there something im doing wrong? How are people getting such sharp images?

I looked at the bbcode section an unfortunately I am totally lost (I have quite bad dyslexia).   Is there a step by step guide I could follow or a template I could use instead?

I have scaled the image down for you to fit the requirements:

Using the full 990pix width would have cropped too much of the image, so this was the better option

This is the original scaled down

This one I cropped the top and bottom ever so slightly to keep the width when the height was reduced.

Both should work fine inside an img tag. Hope that helps. =]

Edit: sorry, didn't realise I was beaten to it!

When scaling an image down, especially when there's a lot of detail and scaling, you'll never get an exact replica as there's fewer pixels. I have edited your signature to correct the image and link for you

Thanks for all the help! Im sure I will get there with a bit of practice,

It makes perfect  Looks like you need to correct the link as they're merged as the same link (to your WIP topic). The WYSIWYG editor can get confused with adding text after a link (it assumes its supposed to be part of the link), you can ensure it is as you want by toggling to BBCode mode quick (switch button, very top left) and adding the text as you want there before toggling back to rich text to add a link etc
