First contact was in 1990 with Space Hulk, and that sent me on a lifelong love of the 40k universe.

But alas, I still have yet to finish painting a unit, or learn the full rules of any edition, or even play a game of 40k.

I played pro MTG from about 97 to 2010, and struggled to stay in the scene this last decade, and have finally decided to jettison one of my other main hobbies and focus on learning 40k.

The lockdown and the shift to 9th edition have slowed me down quite a bit, but I shamble on.

I have mainly marinez in my pile of shamez... LF daily crozius bludgeoning to motivate meh...

Decades of Shame

Welcome to the B&C! I've seen worse piles of shame... without leaving the house alas  Now is as good a time as any to paint that first unit and get that first game ;)

Welcome aboard- I too am a product of the gateway drug that was Spacehulk!

Funny enough, I've got a game of Spacehulk planned for Saturday; it's going to launch a Genestealer Cult Crusade- the stealers that escape the ship will go on to create their own Cult. It'll probably be the only Spacehulk game in the entire campaign, but it felt right to start my campaign with the first GW game I ever played.

We'll see you around.

Hand in all Fallen at the door and keep your wits about you! XD

Always lovely to see some classic minis! I’ve got a few myself tucked away for rainy day projects to!
