I've shelved my wyvren again until they fix horde rule around it and given back it's ability to ignore cover

Losing vigilus strats was tough on it

 

If it's Primaris hunting I'd go with 3 sentinels with autocannon guaranteed 6 shots and profile is far superior to the wyvren

Im loving Sentinels blocking for my Basilisks, supported by a big Bullgryn bomb. Its not easy to chop through that quickly for most armies.

 

Artillery is still really good this edition though, in Manticores and Bassies, it makes opponents cling to area cover or make suicidal charges, etc.

With the smaller table size you can reach anywhere despite obscuring terrain and not be hit back - it really is psychologically advantageous.

I really would love if GW did some kind of heavy Sentinel for 9th.

Armoured sentinels with multi-lasers...

105 points for 3 of them, that's 15 wounds at T6 with a 3+ and a stratagem for half damage...throw on psychic barrier...laugh when anyone throws anti-tank weaponry their way...cuz if youre shooting my dudes that have multi-lasers , it means I'm winning

I think multilaser armored sentinels won’t draw much fire and also won’t kill much. 9 shots, 4-5 hits if no minus, 3 wounds against t4 with no AP. I think it’s definitely worth putting at least autocannons on at just 5ppm more if you are keeping them cheap
