That video doesn't really give me a lot of hope.

Im still honestly can't see competitive lists changing much at all from 8th.

One thing they did say is that things will improve when the actual codex comes out, if you caught that. They also mentioned things like purgator squads a few times but really didn't give a proper valid reason as to why. So hoping that's a slip up and they will be getting better next book?

Personally, the video didn't really give me much hope either. If I were to go full pessimistic, I'd say they are doing these videos just to gain more views. But for a new Grey Knight player, that video would definitely help.

While I am positively thrilled that the GMNDK might be worth taking, like Coolpants, I'm not sure why they bothered mentioning purgation squads. By the previous discussions (or arguments depending on perspective), having a heavy weapon for a 1W model is probably not worth it. So, essentially, with that in mind nothing new. I'll have a re-watch though, just in case I missed something.

Also wanted to share that vid

And I've so disapointed in it. There are a tons of error in their rules interpretations, and tons of complains regarding it in cooment section. Im so hoping that only those guys knows rare factions like GK so bad, that even after playtesting they keep talking things like in video .......

And yes, for me it also looks like cheap advertisement for newbies, and failed attempt to attract players with 'plaetora of rules and possibilities that GK army opens to you', but in fact it is just abusing of nonexisting rules

I get it though.  It's easy to keep everything straight when you specialize in one or two factions.  I only play and collect Grey Knights and Space Wolves, so generally, I know their rules well.  If I were trying to play, and play-test, every single faction regularly, like these guys do, I'm sure I'd get a lot of the specifics messed up.  I think it's okay to use and take what you can, and know to disregard where they're wrong.
